How to Get Pregnant
Never Give Up: A Huggies Member Story
My partner and I have been together for over 6 years. We hadn’t used protection for 90% of that time, and we hadn’t become pregnant. I went to the doctor a year ago as I was worried that I couldn’t conceive.
My doctor was going to send me to the city to see a specialist. She was advising me that I should see what my health insurance covered in case we needed to go through in vitro fertilization (IVF). We looked at all the different prices of IVF and my partner and I decided we would just give it a year or so and see how it went.
Now I am finally pregnant after making sure we were sexually active at the right time of the month. We are so thrilled, and I am so excited to become a mom and my partner to become a daddy.
We had waited for so long it felt like a lifetime. Seeing our “little bean” at our 10-week scan; my heart skipped a beat and tears came rolling down. It was the best day of my life knowing that we were finally going to be parents.
